What are Dental Bridges?

Why are Dental Bridges needed?
A dental bridge is typically needed if you’re missing a natural tooth. The bridge is similar to a crown, but it is larger in size and is used to replace missing dentition. Not only are bridges cosmetic in nature, as they fill in your smile, but they can be restorative in nature, improving the overall function of your teeth. You’ll find that it’s easier to enjoy your favorite foods when you have a new bridge in place.
Dr. Brzoza and his team are exceptionally good. He provides the epitome of high quality, responsive, pain-free dental services. He is the best dentist in Peabody I have seen in my 78 years.
I recommend him with no reservations.

What happens during the Dental Bridge procedure?
We begin by administering a local anesthetic to make the procedure as comfortable as possible for you. We then file down the two surrounding teeth to make enough room for the bridge. After this is done, we take impressions of the area, and use these molds to make the new bridge. Your second appointment involves coming in and having the bridge placed. We’ll adjust the fit and bite of the new bridge, and you’ll leave the office being able to enjoy your brand new smile. With proper hygiene and care, your bridge can last for many years and still look great.
If you think you might need a dental bridge, call our office today, and we can help to answer any of your questions regarding this procedure.
